Munay-Ki Workshops:  Receiving and Learning to Transmit the Great Rites

The Munay-ki are the nine great rites of the medicine way. The word munay
means "I love you" or "be as thou art." The Munay-ki are the nine gates that heal us and transform our human energy field into that of "homo luminous."
The prophecies of the Ancient Americas speak about a new human appearing       on the planet--one who lives free of fear and resides in his or her transcendent  nature. The Munay-ki are the codes for the new human. They are delivered in the form of energetic transmissions. The ninth rite, or the "Creator rite" was transmitted for the first time in the summer of 2006 in the holy mountains of the Andes. Until recently, the nine initiations of the Munay-ki have only been available to the high wisdom keepers of the Americas.

Q & As for Those Considering Registration for a Workshop Event/Hosting a Workshop

What can I expect to experience as I receive the Munay Ki rites?

These rites are the rites of the shaman’s path of the descendants of the Inka, the indigenous peoples of the holy mountains of the Andes in Peru. The rites are received as seeds in the energetic architecture of the luminous body that surrounds the physical body. The more free the luminous field is from the dense energy of past wounding and trauma, tension and disease, the more rapidly the seeds of the rites will grow.

As we integrate the rites into our luminous architecture, our awareness of the areas where we are most in need of healing may become more evident. Our healing journey will accelerate. As the gifts of the rites are developed, every action and interaction will be informed by them. If we step away from alignment with our newly-organizing self, the rites of the Munay Ki will quickly reflect reminders in our day to day experience to return to right relationship.

I understand that if I receive the rites, I am invited to gift them to others…what does this mean?

Traditionally, initiates work with an elder for many years in sacred study before and between receiving rites of passage. However, we now stand at a time of quickening, a critical juncture of human history. One of the reasons that these rites have been translated into an essential, silent form is so that these rites can be transmitted and replicated easily from person to person. This is with the blessing of the elders of the Q’ero nation, the descendants of the Inka whose are the keepers of these rites.

It is hoped that these rites be transmitted to as many individuals as possible now and in the coming times. While it is not a requirement for receiving the rites, it is asked that once you receive them that you strongly consider passing these rites along to others in a way that is comfortable for you.

Like the concept of the hundredth monkey, as the rites mature in a core number of people on our planet, others will be drawn along into this new consciousness. According to prophecy, we will then witness the birth of a new form of human on the planet and the dawn of a new civilization. So it is a really good idea to receive the rites with the intention of passing them on.

If I am just receiving the rites during this Munay Ki workshop, how will I know how to pass them on? How can I be supported in my own healing work after the rites settle in?

In addition to receiving the rites in ceremony, you will be shown and have an opportunity to practice the mechanical aspects of giving the rites during our gathered meetings.  You will also receive a DVD that will guide you on how to administer the rites to others. At the workshop you will be shown essential steps of creating sacred space for yourself, and for your rites recipients when you offer them the rites.

Receiving the rites does not require that you receive further knowledge of the medicine ways of this tradition or healing interventions to further your journey. However, these may be helpful or desired. If so, you may make an appointment before, during or after receiving the rites with someone from Energy Medicine Wellness  or any other healing tradition that serves your transformational process well.  In your workshop packet you will receive resources for additional information about where to learn more about the medicine teachings and the cosmology of this ancient tradition.

If the nine rites are given and received as a gift, why is there a cost to participate?

It is tradition for the nine rites of the shaman’s path in this lineage to be gifted. In keeping with tradition, the recipient of the rite will often offer the giver a small, simple gift to acknowledge gratitude and reciprocity for the exchange. If you choose to honor the tradition, you may also do this. But it is not required. These small gifts are often found, created or purchased treasures that are given from the heart of one to the heart of another.

The costs associated with the Munay Ki workshop, wherever the location, are kept reasonably and affordably priced.  Fees cover materials, time, space rental, coordination, instruction time for the senior teacher and other associated expenses.  The passing of the rites freely without monetary charge or exchange is a tradition that has been honored for centuries back in time. And it is at the request of our elders that it remain so. The actual time spent in ceremony by those gifting the rites is not factored into the cost of the program. It is freely given as an inspired act of love and generosity for our own healing and the healing of the planet.
